The ambition is clear: to grow into one of the most important players in the automation of the installation industry

Mark Landman is the driving force behind Bluace. As owner and Director of Operations and Finance, he deals daily with everything related to technology: from the choice between in-house development and outsourcing to how solutions are ultimately implemented for clients. In practice, his role extends beyond technology alone; he also actively contributes to strategy and marketing. What characterizes Mark is his clear vision: focusing and collaborating with specialists. While many parties opt for custom solutions and in-house development, he believes in the power of standardization. By cleverly combining proven software like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with proprietary apps—such as the field service app with digital work orders and the time-tracking app—Bluace builds stable, future-proof solutions. This approach aligns seamlessly with the installation industry, where efficiency and standardization are becoming increasingly important. It is this same philosophy that is reflected in the ERP software for installation companies and the field service software with which Bluace has made a name for itself. The origins of Bluace lie in the conviction that things could be done differently, both technically and culturally. Based on that philosophy, the company grew from small beginnings into a Microsoft Solutions Partner with a clear market position. For Mark, that growth is not just a result but, above all, something to be proud of: a strong team, a recognizable name, and a clear direction, all visible in a portfolio of implementations across installation, service, and maintenance.

Mark Landman about working at bluace

At Bluace, an open and direct working atmosphere is central. Transparency, the ability to address one another, and room for humor are naturally part of this. At the same time, great value is placed on personal responsibility: employees are given ample room to develop themselves and pursue their ambitions, as long as they take the initiative themselves. Rotterdam runs like a common thread through the story of Bluace. The company operates from the Van Nelle Factory and is a proud Business Club Premium sponsor of Sparta Rotterdam. That bond goes beyond a pitchside sign: Bluace implemented Dynamics 365 Sales at Sparta Rotterdam, giving the club real-time insight into quotes, orders, and sales results. Sponsorship and collaboration based on mutual trust, exactly how Mark views customer relationships.

That Rotterdam perseverance is also reflected in his private life. For years, running was his great passion, with the Rotterdam Marathon as the annual highlight; that same discipline and long-term focus are evident in how he works and does business. Nowadays, it is mainly his dog Teddy who provides the daily exercise. Teddy has become a familiar face at the office and was welcomed with open arms by the team as “perhaps the cutest colleague.” With Bluace, Mark looks ahead. The ambition is clear: to grow into one of the leading players in the automation of the installation industry, together with the team. Growth is not an end in itself but a collaborative process that includes everyone.
