Holiday requests in Business Central

Extended Time Sheets includes a complete leave module. Employees request time off right where they register their hours: in Business Central. A request covers a single day or a longer period, optionally with a start and end time for half days or a few hours.

Instant overlap insight: while requesting, employees immediately see which colleagues are already off in the same period, including the number of overlapping days.
Built-in approval workflow: submit, approve or reject. The right approver is determined automatically through the absence project.
Straight into planning: approved leave is automatically added as planning lines on the absence project and shows up in planning right away.
Overview for everyone: employees track the status of their requests from the role centre, managers work from a dedicated approval list.
Year-end handled: transfer the remaining leave balance to next year’s absence project in a single action.
