Excel integration with Business Central increases your efficiency

Our solution features seamless integration with Excel. This enables you to easily edit lists in your system in Excel and subsequently publish them to Business Central. For you as a user, this brings various benefits. We would be happy to explain the functionalities to you.

Edit lists directly in Excel

When working with our software, you can open and edit any list in your organization in Excel. If you want to edit something in a customer or product list, open the relevant list in Excel. The system then converts the list to Excel via seamless integration, after which you can modify the data in the sheet. When you have finished editing, press ‘Publish’ to publish the list in your Business Central environment. This handy feature saves you time if, for example, you have made a typo in a customer name, a phone number changes, or if one of your product prices changes. Organizations with a frequently changing product list, in particular, benefit greatly from this integrated feature.

Still the familiar Business Logic

If you edit lists in Business Central in Excel and then publish them to your system, the system still takes the configured Business Logic into account. Before publishing, the system checks whether the changes are allowed. If this is not the case, you will receive a notification, and data will not be published to your Business Central environment until the entered fields are changed to allow data.

Use Excel formulas

Thanks to full integration with Excel, you can now easily use Excel formulas when modifying data. This allows you to easily calculate, for example, a customer’s credit limit or product prices without taking many extra steps.
