“It’s a challenge I’ve welcomed with open arms”
Yvan Bibollet-Ruche, Technical Consultant at Bluace
“The first meeting with Bluace was a last-minute application. I was told the same day that I could be in Rotterdam in an hour for a job interview. This resulted in a quick trip from The Hague to Rotterdam, even with a sacrifice of a hairdresser’s appointment,” says Yvan, Technical Consultant at Bluace. “I got a good first impression. Mark seemed enthusiastic, so we scheduled the second interview the next day.” Yvan, originally from The Hague and raised in Den Hoorn, is the new addition to Bluace. His roots are in sunny France, and he is an enthusiastic volunteer scout leader in his spare time. He teaches children the intricacies of scouting life and the art of sailing and boat maintenance. To top it all off, he participates in an annual triathlon, showing his love for sports and perseverance.
Yvan says: “My first week at work was a flood of information, with Pieter Bart as a guide who introduced me to the system. The working-from-home environment is a pleasant change; it still saves travel time. In my role as a Technical Consultant, I am involved in the development of Bluace’s product. My tasks vary from connecting different systems, such as Business Central and CRM, to managing Microsoft Azure and cleaning data. I’m looking forward to the challenge of fixing bugs and optimizing Bluace’s scheduling in the future.”
Now, after a month at Bluace, Yvan reflects on his experience. “The work differs from what I expected – less hands-on coding and more focus on connecting different systems, such as Business Central and CRM. It’s a challenge that I’ve welcomed with open arms and consider something fun.” Yvan’s ambitions at Bluace go beyond his technical duties. He is determined to contribute to improving planning, which he understands is challenging. With his fresh perspective and determination, Yvan is poised for an exciting and productive future at Bluace.
