More and more companies are switching to electronic invoicing. There are plenty of benefits for SMEs as well. We would be happy to explain what e-invoicing is and what benefits you can gain from it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-is-e-invoicing\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:28px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">What is e-invoicing?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">If your company uses electronic invoicing, it means you send e-invoices (not PDFs) in which the required data is always stored in a fixed location with its own code. This makes it possible to process an e-invoice automatically, rendering manual administrative work unnecessary. Invoices are created and sent automatically. Subsequently, the invoice is automatically processed and made payable by the recipient. More and more companies are using electronic invoicing, and the Dutch central government has even accepted only e-invoices since April 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-is-ubl-and-xml\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:28px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">What is UBL and XML?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UBL invoices are being discussed more and more. Universal Business Language is a standard format for electronic invoices. It is an XML file specifically designed for invoices. Thanks to a UBL invoice, it is possible to transfer all required invoice data from one accounting package to another. This allows the invoice to be read directly by our <a href=\"https:\/\/bluace.nl\/en\/dynamics-software-apps\/technical-management\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/bluace.nl\/en\/dynamics-software-apps\/technical-management\/\">service and maintenance software<\/a>, without requiring any manual work on your part. The creator and recipient can also communicate even if they use two different systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-the-benefits-of-electronic-invoicing\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:28px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">The benefits of electronic invoicing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400\"><strong><strong>Simple and fast processing<\/strong><\/strong><br>Invoices are automatically generated and processed faster, without the need for human intervention.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400\"><strong><strong>Cheaper<\/strong><\/strong><br>Manual tasks are eliminated, saving you money on labor costs. The European Commission estimates that the annual savings from e-invoicing for companies in the Netherlands amount to approximately 8 billion euros.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400\"><strong><strong>Faster payment of your invoices<\/strong><br><\/strong>If you use electronic invoicing, your e-invoices are paid on average within 3 days. For non-electronic invoices, the average is 16 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400\"><strong><strong>Insight and transparency<\/strong><br><\/strong>Because all your incoming and outgoing invoices are processed automatically, your system is always up to date.
