When you work with our software<\/a>, you have the option to open and edit any list present in your organization in Excel. If you want to edit something in a customer list or product list, go to that list to open it in Excel. The system then converts the list into Excel thanks to the seamless integration, after which you can then change data in this sheet. When you have finished editing, press “Publish” to publish the list in your Business Central environment<\/a>. This handy feature saves you time if, for example, you have made a typing error on a customer name or if a telephone number or one of your product prices changes. Especially organizations with a frequently changing product list benefit significantly from this integrated function.<\/p>\n Suppose you edit lists from Business Central in Excel, and you want to publish them to your system. In that case, the system still takes the set Business Logic into account. Before publishing, the system checks whether the changes are allowed according to the system. If this is not the case, you will be notified and data will not be published to your Business Central environment until the completed fields have been changed to permitted data.<\/p>\n Thanks to full integration with Excel, you can now easily use Excel formulas when you change data. This gives you the option to easily calculate, for example, a credit limit for a customer or article prices of a product without having to perform many additional actions.<\/p>\n Are you curious about how the Excel integration works precisely?
