To our surprise, the majority still used paper during work processes. While a paperless installation company should be the norm nowadays, this way of working offers many advantages. We want to explain why switching to a paperless installation company is wise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-as-a-paperless-installation-company-you-no-longer-lose-paperwork-for-orders\" style=\"font-size:28px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\"><strong>1. As a paperless installation company, you no longer lose paperwork for orders<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-link-color wp-elements-39fd35ff0895db014e6d9ee5d1cf95f9\">One of the main advantages of working digitally with a <a href=\"https:\/\/bluace.nl\/en\/dynamics-software-apps\/field-service-app\/\">field service application<\/a> is that paperwork orders are no longer lost. We often see that installation companies still work with paper forms. Technicians pick up these paperwork orders at the office, go to the client with them, manually write down which parts and materials are used, have them signed, and then return to the office once or twice a week to submit them. These paper forms can not only be lost, but handwriting can also be misinterpreted or incorrectly entered due to a typo. Additionally, manually processing these forms is highly time-consuming. Microsoft software for installation companies, including a mobile application, prevents all these problems and saves approximately 4 hours of administration per technician per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-documents-immediately-available-within-a-paperless-installation-company\" style=\"font-size:28px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\"><strong>2. Documents immediately available within a paperless installation company<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">A further advantage of working digitally is that most software is fully cloud-based. All entered data is synchronized in real-time and immediately available to other departments and colleagues. For example, the work order we just discussed is immediately available to, for instance, the finance department. As a result, you can start invoicing as soon as the technician drives away from the customer&#8217;s location. And because this process is faster, you will also get paid faster in practice, and your money will thus be in your account sooner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-make-your-company-more-attractive-to-new-employees\" style=\"font-size:28px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\"><strong>3. Make your company more attractive to new employees<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-link-color wp-elements-b8a25e1552d115bde6c3e3a631fc098b\">Digital working with cloud software has another advantage, and we often notice that most installation companies do not think about this directly. Using modern cloud software makes your installation company more attractive to new employees. The younger generation is already accustomed to working daily with these modern devices and <a href=\"https:\/\/bluace.nl\/en\/solutions\/erp-software-installation-company\/\">systems<\/a> from an early age. Today, there is an enormous labor market shortage for installation technology. Working digitally with modern software within your company ensures you have an advantage over all the installation companies that do not (yet) have this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-always-work-with-the-correct-data-everywhere-as-a-paperless-installation-company\" style=\"font-size:28px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\"><strong>4. Use all data to analyze and improve<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-link-color wp-elements-d494630168edf42d8204fc693b4b29b8\">The last but certainly not least advantage of digital working is that you can easily analyze all data and use it to improve and further optimize. <a href=\"https:\/\/bluace.nl\/en\/industries\/installation-software\/microsoft-software-installation-company\/\">Microsoft software for your installation company<\/a> has a Power BI module that allows you to create reports from all the data in the system easily. This is much more difficult with paperwork orders, especially if they are not entered into a software system.
