Setting up job queue notifications<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-link-color wp-elements-99d2c42851a00f07f98c88060485fc43\">You can easily configure notifications via Business Central&#8217;s &#8216;Assisted Setup. &#8216; Here, you can choose whether to receive messages in case of errors or based on a time setting. These administrators do not need to be BC administrators but are responsible for monitoring the job queue entries. This prevents vital notifications from being overlooked by the wrong people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-timing-of-notifications\" style=\"font-size:28px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\"><strong><strong><strong>5. Timing of notifications<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With the new notifications, you can choose when to be informed. You can receive notifications immediately after a failed task or after a certain time threshold. This gives you the flexibility to decide when you want to take action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-email-notifications-via-power-automate\" style=\"font-size:28px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>6. Email notifications via Power Automate<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Would you rather receive an email when there&#8217;s a problem with a job queue entry? You can, but you&#8217;ll need Power Automate to set it up. There is currently no built-in option to send email notifications directly through Business Central. You will have to adjust for this via Power Automate. These enhancements in Business Central will help you get the most out of your job queue entries and streamline your processes.
