The service and installation industry is currently facing two significant changes. Gas boiler installers have had to deal with the new Gasketelwet<\/a> since the end of 2020, and solar panel installers have had to deal with the SCIOS Scope 12 inspection<\/a> since the spring of 2021. Although the arrangements are entirely different, they both mean that you must record certifications per technician in your records to send the right technician to a job. In this webinar, we would like to show you how to easily record certifications and consider this when planning resources, among other things, to comply with the new legislation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is the new Gasketelwet and the SCIOS Scope 12?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new Gas Boiler Act came into effect on October 1, 2020. This law stipulates that only skilled installation companies are authorized to work on central heating systems. The bridging period is in force until January 1, 2023, so installers have until then to obtain the CO certification and get the administration in order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since spring 2021, PV installation installers have had to deal with the new SCIOS Scope 12 inspection. The SCIOS foundation set up the inspection after more and more fires with electrical causes occurred in solar panels in recent years. Insurers were growing demand for solar panel installations carried out only by certified installation companies. The Scope 12 inspection consists of an initial inspection (ECI) and periodic follow-up inspections (PI), which installers may only carry out with a SCIOS Certificate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
